In short: People is a free tool for organising your own contacts. Use it for yourself, keep your contacts' information respectful, and know that it's provided as-is.
By using People at trypeople.vercel.app, including the installed app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use People.
People is a web app that shows your contacts as a personal dashboard. You can add contacts by hand, import a file, pick them from your phone, share them in from another app, or sync them from your Google account. Everything is stored in your own browser on your own device; People has no server and no accounts of its own. How your data is handled is explained in the Privacy Policy.
If you connect your Google account, People reads your Google Contacts with read-only access and never changes anything in your Google account. You can disconnect at any time from People's Settings or at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Your use of Google services is also covered by Google's own terms.
The Call, Message, Email and WhatsApp buttons open the apps on your own device. People doesn't place calls or send messages itself, and isn't responsible for those apps or any charges from your phone provider.
Your contacts and notes belong to you. Because they are stored only on your device, clearing your browser data, uninstalling the app or losing your device can delete them. Keep your own copy of anything important, for example in your phone or Google Contacts.
People is provided free of charge. Features may change, and the service may be paused or discontinued at any time.
People is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for any loss of data, missed contact, or other damage arising from using or being unable to use People.
If these terms change, the date at the top will be updated. Continuing to use People after a change means you accept the updated terms.
